About Me

Basics

My name is Victoria and I am 28 years old. I live in Norwich, in the east of England.

My Hobbies

In my spare time, I like going to the cinema, listening to music, digital photography and also going clubbing with my friends. I also enjoy going for walks in the countryside and being amongst beautiful scenery. One of my favourite holiday destinations has been the Lake District (in north-west England) – it’s very pretty there, and I have been there twice. I have also been to the Peak District, where my favourite activity was visiting caves, including Poole’s Cavern, Treak Cliff Cavern and Blue John Cavern. From time to time, I enjoy cooking at weekends.

My Studies

I have a 2:1 BSc degree in Computing Science. I graduated in 2005 from the University of East Anglia (the local university here in Norwich). I learnt many new skills, such as Java, C and C++ programming, internet technologies, and how to analyse, design, implement and manage an information system such as a database system.

My job

In February 2010 I started a new job as a web developer at a local media company. This is my dream career and I’m enjoying it so far!

My Computer

I bought my current computer in January 2007. It is a Packard Bell iExtreme 2969 running Windows XP Home Edition. It has 2gb of memory, 364gb hard-drive and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

Musical Taste

I like most types of music, with the exception of classical, jazz and anything that’s too old fashioned! I prefer up-tempo songs to ballads.

Favourite TV Shows

At the moment, my favourite TV show is the X Factor. I also enjoy watching documentaries, especially documentaries about ghosts such as Most Haunted and Haunted Homes. I like music channels on satellite TV such as The Box, Kiss and Fizz.

My Personality

I am quite a shy and reserved person and it does take me quite a while to feel relaxed around someone until I get to know them better. Once I get to know someone properly, I become more outgoing. Instead of having a big circle of distant friends, I have a small network of close friends whom I really value. Most of my friends are people I’ve known since high school (that’s 15 years and counting!) However, I am of course always on the lookout for new friends!

My Myers-Briggs personality type is INTJ.
