Following on…

Following on from my last post, I’ve already made some progress towards improving my decisiveness/communication skills. On Friday we organised a team meal, which was nice as we don’t go out as a team very often. It was me who suggested the location of the meal – Malaysian Delights! (If you read this blog often, then you will know that it is one of my favourite local restaurants, as well as the Townhouse!) The others hadn’t been there before, but they both really enjoyed the meal and they were pleased I had recommended it. There were only 3 of us, as the 4th member of the team is currently off sick.

On Thursday night, I went to Outfit (the shop where my sister Suzanne works), as they were having a 20% discount evening for people with storecards. I bought a new winter coat, along with a pair of skinny jeans, a wooly cardigan and a couple of tops.

Recently, I’ve been reading posts on other people’s blogs about Google Chrome, so I installed it to see what the fuss is about. It’s very basic and I don’t understand what’s so special about it, other than it provides easy access to other Google applications. It just seems like a stripped-down version of Internet Explorer. However, I might use it again in the future if new features are added.

On Sunday evening Mum and I went to… (you guessed it, the Townhouse!) for a carvery. We are addicted to their carveries now!

I’ve just heard that Emily’s football team, Norwich City Girls, are currently third in their league (in spite of losing their match last week), so that’s good news. The 2 teams above them are Arsenal and Watford.

Tomorrow I will be meeting my friend Naomi for lunch. She gave up her old catering job a week ago, and she’s now got a gap of about a month until her new job starts. (I mentioned her new job in a previous post).
