  • Eep. I've got just one day left of my McAffee internet security subscription! #
  • I've only got a half-day at work tomorrow, as I've got a dentist appointment. 2.15pm is the latest time, which is kind of ridiculous I know. #
  • I mean, I asked for an appointment towards the end of the working day, and they said 2.15pm is the latest they could do! o_O #
  • What a weird morning this has been for me! And I've got to go to the dentist in just over an hour. :~( #
  • My dentist appointment went OK – nothing too scary! As I've got the rest of the afternoon free, I'm going to watch a DVD. #
  • Today has been a fairly good day. I'd better write to my friend Gemma this evening. #

  • On top of that, I feel like I'm coming down with something. One of my co-worker's housemates has flu and he has also been feeling unwell. #
  • So, I passed the 1000 tweets barrier today without even realising it! #
  • I have come down with a bad cold so I didn't go to work today. #
  • I'm still feeling ill. :( There's a blizzard going on outside and everywhere is white. #

  • Today's been a fairly mundane day, but I got everything done that I wanted to. #
  • My letter of employment has come though! :D I'll be able to sleep easily again now! #
  • I'll have to give my 4 weeks notice tomorrow. I hope I won't have a tear in my eye when I do that. It will be like the end of an era. #
  • I won't be resigning in the traditional sense, though. I'll just be taking my redundancy 2 months earlier than I would have done otherwise. #

  • This weekend has gone fairly well. Yesterday I had an eye test and I ordered some new glasses. Today we had a carvery at The Cottage. #
  • The interviewer for the web developer job left me a voicemail, but he said I can't call back until 7.30pm. Now I'm going to be feeling… #
  • …jittery for the next hour, wondering whether I'll be offered the job or not. #
  • It's gone 7.30pm, so I tried to call back that interviewer but he didn't answer. He must be running late. :( #
  • The interviewer called back a few minutes ago, and I've been offered the job! I haven't felt this happy and excited for ages! :D :D #
  • After all the upsets and disappointments of 2009, 2010 is turning out to be a brilliant year already! ♥ #

  • Feeling a bit tetchy as I stayed up til 1am to finish my book. Vanished files still vanished. Contract still non-existent (AFAIK). :( #

  • I feel a bit creeped out.I received a letter from my doctor, but it looked like someone had opened it as the flap was sealed with sellotape. #
  • I think it was originally delivered to the wrong person, but it's creepy that they opened it before putting it through my letterbox. #
  • I hate that "my fine is" meme on facebook. It seems to glorify criminal activity, including drunk-driving and stealing. Also cheating. #

  • Now going for a carvery at the Townhouse. :D #
  • As of tomorrow morning, my Christmas/New Year holiday is over. I go back to work tomorrow! #
  • Today has turned out to be a pretty good day on the jobs front. I've been invited back for a 3rd(!) interview for the web developer job… #
  • …and I also found out that I'm still in with a chance of getting the Systems Developer job. Plus there's a few internal jobs too. #
  • My first 2 days back at work have been full-on! There is no such thing as "easing yourself back to work gently" in my team! :~ #
  • #uksnow NR7 0/10 :( No sign of any snow here in NR7, except what's already on the ground (which isn't much). #
  • Today has been a horrible day for me. Spent 2 days doing a report following the jobcard. Emailed the report, only to be told it's all wrong! #
  • …it was the jobcard that was inaccurate and it missed out a very important step! So I had to deal with the flak and redo it. :( #
  • That is why I'm having such a late lunch. And for some strange reason, my phone always wants to write "I'o" instead of "I'm". #
  • So glad today is over and I managed to fix that report. I also put together a dossier of root causes so they can be fixed for next month. #
  • By the way, I've never done that report before, I was just standing in for a colleague who's on holiday. Not happy about inaccurate jobcard. #
  • Wondering if it's going to snow any more tonight! #
  • I've just discovered that you can use CSS to capitalize text in a webpage. But I can't think why anyone would want to use CSS to do that? #
  • I'd better go to sleep in a minute as I want to be refreshed for my job interview tomorrow. #
  • Today has been an interesting day. It snowed quite heavily last night (about 10cm) so I walked most of the way to work. #
  • I don't mind walking through the snow though. It's snowing right now as I type this message. #

  • I had a nice morning/early afternoon at Wymondham. A lot of the shops were closed though, but it was good to be out in the fresh air. #
  • I'm now going to write my review of the decade! It won't be too long, just a summary of the main things which happened in my life. #
