Posted in Twitter Updates on 08/08/2010 10:00 am by Victoria- Today we went back to the Ted Ellis Nature Reserve to finish that walk we started a couple of months ago. #
- Just 5 more days at work then it's holiday time! #
- RT @callumchapman: Coding a Stylish Blog Design Layout in HTML & CSS – http://is.gd/dXZOd (via @chrisspooner) #
- I just used UnTweeps to unfollow 6 Tweeps who haven't tweeted recently. http://untweeps.com. #
- HAHAH the ConArtists have lost!
#eggheads # - I'm in a fairly weird pessimistic mood today!
# - I'm wondering how you get data in the Insight tab when you click a user's name on Hootsuite. #
- I baked some more bread this evening.
# - Just went to McDonald's for lunch, but nowhere to sit! They should put out more tables at busy times like the summer holidays. #
- There's plenty of free space on that floor of the mall for some extra tables. I ended up eating outside. #
- It's quite cold and drizzly today! I hope it will be warmer than this when we go on holiday. #
- RT @mashable: Android Now Top Selling Smartphone Operating System – http://mash.to/2kXTs <- I'd like to get an Android phone sometime. #
- …I probably won't buy a new phone for at least a year though. I only upgrade once every couple of years, any more just seems wasteful. #
- RT @BillyGottaJob: After Cam's blue-sky thinking on housing, some red-sky thinking! Hold onto your hats: http://is.gd/e23IR #
- @iva_tanackovic The mall was only built 5 years ago, so the furniture has never changed, but I don't think they make good use of space. in reply to iva_tanackovic #
- Can't believe it's only 3 days until my holiday in the Lake District!
# - RT @del_javascript: Fluff Busting Purity Cleans Up Your Facebook Homepage From Application Spam and Information Overload http://ow.ly/18rSTW #

Posted in Twitter Updates on 08/01/2010 10:00 am by Victoria- @JoJoBuzz I use McAfee Internet Security. I've been using it for over a year now and it seems pretty good.
in reply to JoJoBuzz # - When I'm tired I totally fail at mental arithmetic – handing over £30 for something worth £34.50 because my brain rounded it down not up! #
- I was at the hairdressers just now when that happened! How embarrassing! Luckily things like that don't happen to me too often. #
- I'm really looking forward to my holiday. Only a week and a half to go!
# - Just had a Thai green curry for lunch. My eyes are still watering! #

Posted in Twitter Updates on 07/25/2010 10:00 am by Victoria- I'm hoping we'll have time to go to the cinema once Mum finishes work this afternoon. It's getting late though.
# - Just been to the cinema to see Shrek 3D and had a meal at Malaysian Delights.
# - On the Facebook help page it says a group officer has no more privileges than a regular group member – what's the point of that then?! o_O #
- …I'm just wondering because I've been made an officer of a Facebook group, but it seems that position is actually useless! #
- I think I'm going to bake a cake when I get home tonight.
I've got some double cream which needs to be used up. # - http://bit.ly/aloeaA – 1st comment is epic win! I mean, who wouldn't want a convicted murderer/robber tending their granny's garden?! o_O #
- …and of course, if you dare to disagree, you're a "PC do-gooder"! People with wacky views seem to love that phrase! #
- Just finished baking my cake – it's nice!
# - The last few days have been way too stressful! Terry's back is still bad, although it is starting to get better. #
- Right, that's it for me today. It's 11pm already! #
- This lunchtime I went to McDonald's and happened to meet my friends Kay and Rachel there. I'm looking forward to Kay's party on Saturday. #
- Other than that, I've felt a bit fed up today. I haven't been getting much sleep lately. #
- @davidtreynolds Yes that's right – it's been so hot at night that I've found it difficult to sleep. Tonight doesn't seem so bad though. in reply to davidtreynolds #
- I've got a very busy day ahead of me tomorrow! #
- Looking forward to Kay's big birthday bash tonight!
# - @CanaryTravel1 That sounds good – enjoy your time in Krabi! in reply to CanaryTravel1 #

Posted in Twitter Updates on 07/18/2010 10:00 am by Victoria- Going to the beach for the afternoon.
# - It's been a good day. I've got a 4-day week ahead of me as I booked Friday off as a holiday. #
- It's a nice cool, refreshing morning. I don't even remember the last time it rained. #
- Feeling a bit sleepy as I didn't sleep well last night. I woke up in the middle of the night really hungry and later had a nightmare! #
- Feel really fed up. The bus timetable has changed and the day seems so long! #
- I had a nice evening with my friends Naomi and Sarah last night. We had a takeaway and watched a DVD. #
- Today is turning out to be a bad day. My step-dad Terry has a bad back & our cat Holly has fleas! Mum & Terry keep snapping at each other. #
- It's only about 20 minutes until we find out whether Norwich has won the UK City of Culture competition! #
- Hell no!! #norwich2013 #

Posted in Twitter Updates on 07/11/2010 10:00 am by Victoria- @CanaryTravel1 Hello this is a tweet! #
- @CanaryTravel1 Hello this is a tweet! (testing attempt 2) #
- Looking forward to a brand new week! #
- RT @smashingmag: Get More Done: 10 Tips for a More Productive Web Design Process – http://bit.ly/dyiLyF #
- I always like watching Mary Queen of Shops on a Monday evening. It's always an interesting programme. #
- I had a dream last night that I was back at my old job. Same people, same work, same problems. It wasn't a very vivid dream though. #
- RT @clientsfh: Photo: http://tumblr.com/xepcv2fp5 #
- Last night I had such a weird nightmare – it was so gross I had to force myself awake! #
- I just had to unfollow some people as I often spend nearly half my evening catching up on tweets. They were only people who don't follow me. #
- …I rarely ever use Twitter at work because nearly everyone can see my screen and I don't want colleagues to know I have an account here! #
- @ryangiglio Nothing wrong with Twitter, it's just that I'd feel self-conscious of what I'm tweeting on here if my colleagues were reading. in reply to ryangiglio #
- @iva_tanackovic I suppose I could do that – I could have one account for work-related tweets and one for everything else. in reply to iva_tanackovic #
- I wish people would stop posting links to articles on websites which are locked down/paywalled. No-one else can see them! #
- In my family tonight we are all angry! A property developer wants to cut down the local woods to build housing!
http://bit.ly/ceigN6 # - …I hate people like Justin Meath Baker who always go on about their "financial duty" but never mention their environmental duty. #
- I'm going to set up a separate Twitter account for my IT/web development/work-related tweets. Trouble is – what to call it? #
- I've created a new Twitter account at http://twitter.com/TheWebaholic for IT/web development/work-related stuff. #
- RT @SNUBcampaign:Check out Belmore Park website for regular news updates on proposed new development & charrette: http://tinyurl.com/32ysxec #
- It's going to be so hot today! #
- For anyone who missed my tweet last night, my new Twitter username is TheWebaholic. I'll still use this one outside work though. #
- The temperature in my bedroom is currently 30 degrees C! Arrgh!
# - @iva_tanackovic Yes, I'm on the south side so it often gets very hot. I'm thinking about getting an air conditioning unit for my bedroom. in reply to iva_tanackovic #
- This PM we went for a walk in the local woods. These are the woods which could be cut down if those property developers get their way.
# - RT @manikarthik: U.K. government could drop Microsoft for Linux http://is.gd/dmQyb #
- Just upgraded to WordPress 3.0 and changed my theme.

Posted in Twitter Updates on 07/04/2010 10:00 am by Victoria- Oh well, it's all over now!
# - England had the highest-paid team in the World Cup, but they still lost. This disproves the theory that high pay attracts best people… #
- …and yet that theory is always used as the excuse for overpaying bankers and top company CEOs. That's what's wrong with this country! #
- This morning we went for a walk around Hoveton Hall Gardens. It was nice to get out for a couple of hours. #
- I can tell it's going to be difficult to sleep tonight – the thermometer says it's 27 degrees C in my bedroom! :-O #
- I've just uploaded my photos from Hoveton Hall Gardens: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sparkleworld/ #
- It's very ironic, considering I work for a news publisher, that they never have any newspapers for staff to read in the canteen @ lunchtime. #
- I'm still enjoying the heatwave… #
- RT @smashingmag: Excel Data Entry: Fill Blank Cells in Excel Column – http://bit.ly/9VBowH #
- RT @JamesFirth:Use this government website to nominate or rate ideas for laws which need repealing (#DEACT): http://bit.ly/djfuD7 Good idea! #
- Happy July, everyone! I can't believe we're half way through the year already! #
- I can't believe the lengths that some spammers will go to in order to find out your contact details – it's creepy! #
- However, if someone finds out your full name and the name of the company that employs you, it's fairly easy to work out your email address. #
- We're going to Malaysian Delights for a meal tonight.

Weekly Twitter Updates 2010-06-27
Posted in Twitter Updates on 06/27/2010 10:00 am by Victoria- It's been a good Father's Day. All the family came round to bring cards and chocolates to my stepdad Terry. #
- @iva_tanackovic I've often wondered about that too. However, the official spelling does seem to be Father's Day (according to Wikipedia). in reply to iva_tanackovic #
- I'm bored and I've got 20 minutes until I need to go back to work! #
- I haven't felt like tweeting much over the last few days. Life is a bit boring at the moment! #
- Launchlist – Your one stop website checklist!: http://launchlist.net/ via @addthis <- very useful for web developers. #
- It's a lovely sunny day and I'm wearing a dress to work for the first time ever!
# - @dabr Is there a known problem with dabr currently? For the last 24 hours or so I've been getting gateway timeout errors. #
- I'm now enjoying the sunshine while I can. #
- We managed to get through a whole day without the system crashing even once! I can't remember the last time that was the case! #
- What's happened to Fab ice lollies?! For 2 weeks in a row, Sainsbury's has delivered Nobbly Bobbly lollies instead! #
- RT @clientsfh: "Left click? But the mouse is in my right hand…." http://tumblr.com/xepc7ixjb <- LOL! #
- Just been to the hairdressers. Now I'm back outside in the sunshine again.

Weekly Twitter Updates 2010-06-20
Posted in Twitter Updates on 06/20/2010 10:00 am by Victoria- I'm so happy! My picture from yesterday is on the local news site – In the 2nd picture I'm the one on the far right: http://bit.ly/apKCbD #
- It should be in tomorrow's paper copy of the Evening News as well, so I'll have to remember to buy it! #
- I've just noticed that my old tweets (prior to 30th Sept 2009) appear to have been deleted!
# - Just checking tweets from the last few hours when I was asleep. Sometimes I do wonder about people's sanity! Lol! #
- Just bought a copy of the Evening News and our photo wasn't in there after all.
Oh well, at least it was used on the website. # - Thank goodness I use @backupmytweets! I would've lost hundreds of my old tweets otherwise! #
- It feels like I haven't tweeted for ages now! I went shopping for summer clothes last night. #
- A goalless draw…yawn! #
- I'm now glad that I didn't bother going down the pub to watch the football! #
- Yay! It looks like all my missing tweets have been restored!
